MISSION
Betar – the arm of Ze’ev Jabotinsky’s international movement — has reemerged with purpose and power. Since our re-founding in the summer of 2024, we’ve become the most active real-world Zionist activist organization, building chapters in cities across the country and making an unmistakable impact.
Our mission is simple and unapologetic:
To recruit, develop, and empower proud Jews to become bold leaders and defenders of Zion — on campus, in cities, across the media, in business, and in the streets. We are not quiet. We are not polite.
We are loud, proud, aggressive, and unapologetically Zionist — online and offline. We speak clearly. We act decisively. We stand tall as Betarim.
Founded over a century ago, Betar’s global movement now has active. In just a few short months, we’ve shown why Betar is urgently needed: to lead from the front, loudly and proudly, at a time when too many others stay silent or retreat.

The modern State of Israel would not exist without the courage and clarity of Jabotinsky’s followers — and today, that same spirit is rising again through Betar. We believe leadership means action. And we intend to lead where others will not.

Our Guiding Compass
Betar is a bold Zionist movement dedicated to defending Israel’s legitimacy and strengthening the Jewish connection to the Land of Israel.
Founded in 1923 by Ze’ev Jabotinsky in Latvia, Betar has a proud and powerful history of empowering Jews to stand strong against antisemitism, embrace their heritage, and take real action for Zionism.
For over a century, Betar has been a force in Zionist education, Hebrew revival, Jewish self-defense, and Aliyah by any means necessary—whether through diplomacy, activism, or personal sacrifice. Guided by Jabotinsky’s vision and the heroic example of Joseph Trumpeldor, Betar remains committed to liberty, national pride, and building a thriving Jewish state.
Legacy of Leadership
Betar has shaped Jewish and Israeli history. Our ranks have included legendary leaders such as:
- Menachem Begin – Israeli Prime Minister and leader of the Irgun.
- Yitzchak Shamir – Israeli Prime Minister and Lehi commander.
- Benzion Netanyahu – Historian and father of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
More streets in Israel are named after Ze’ev Jabotinsky than any other leader—a testament to the movement’s enduring influence. The Betar spirit is not a relic of history—it’s a living legacy.

Reborn in the summer of 2024, Betar has rapidly become one of the most active Zionist activist movements. With chapters launching across the country we’re recruiting and empowering a new generation of unapologetic Jewish leaders.
Betar stands loud, proud, and aggressive in the defense of Israel and the Jewish people. We don’t just influence the conversation—we lead it. On campuses, in communities, across media platforms, and in the streets, we are rebuilding Jewish strength and clarity in a time of rising hatred.

The Problem
