Pen Pal Project
Due to the lack of publicity and attention that the situation receives, in Israel and abroad, the citizens of Sderot feel isolated and abandoned. In addition to this, over 30% of the children in Sderot suffer from Post Traumatic Stress disorder.
Betar has intiated a pen pal program between local schools and schools in Sderot. We hope to convey to the children of Sderot that they do not stand alone.
Among the schools that have students participating: Beachwood High School, Mayfiled High School, Fuchs Mizrachi School, Gross Schechter Day School and Solon Chabad. Students in grades 4-12 have participated.
