Why Recycle?
Every day in the United States, each of us will send
the equivalent of 4.5 pounds of trash into our landfills. Approximately 9-12%
is made up of plastics. This massive pile of garbage takes up space and will
need to be monitored for years to come, making it a serious problem for the
next generation. Join us as we create a better tomorrow for the children, by
recycling inkjet, laser cartridges and cellphones in our RECYCLE FUNDRAISER.
How Does the Program Work?
It's simple! Our fundraiser is designed to collect
and recycle used and empty inkjet, laser cartridges and cellphones from your
home and office. Betar gets paid for over 450 different cartridges and
cellphones. Instead of discarding these plastic cartridges and cellphones in
the trash, which eventually end up in our landfills, we encourage you to
recycle them for cash, payable to our school in our RECYCLE FUNDRAISER.
How Do I Recycle?
Betar provides you with envelopes to discard your
inkjet, laser cartridges and cellphones. Simply place them in the envelope, and
send them with your regular mail. All envelopes are postage-paid and bar code
identified to our school for proper accounting. Bring your single laser
cartridges to Betar or for multiple cartridges, Betar will supply you with
postage paid boxes.
